Laser Tattoo Removal

We proudly offer laser tattoo removal treatments using the new Astanza Trinity laser. New Beginnings Tattoo Removal is the first clinic in Colorado to bring you the new Trinity technology. The Trinity is a Q-Switched and ruby laser incorporating three of the most versatile wavelenghts-532 nm, 694 nm, and 1064 nm. With the combination of wavelenghts, we are able to target and safely treat all tattoo ink colors on all skin types. The Trinity’s unique square-shaped beams distribute light energy evenly, minimizing the risk of hot spots and treatment overlap. It also comes with a 5x5 mm hand piece, allowing our practitioners to treat larger tattoos in a matter of minutes.

Laser tattoo removal is for those looking to erase a whole tattoo, erase a part of a tattoo, or even lighten a tattoo for a cleaner cover up. When aftercare instructions are followed carefully, tattoo removal is safe and effective and generally removes 95 to 100% of the unwanted ink. New Beginnings Tattoo Removal specializes in tattoo removal and often has success in removing tattoos where other clinics have failed.

Tattoo removal can be a bit painful depending on your personal pain threshold. Some clients get through their treatment with no trouble and some of our clients enjoy our “NB3” a RX-only numbing cream available exclusively at NBTR. If our clients still find tattoo removal to be unbearable, we have other pain relieving options available for an additional cost. Consultations are strongly recommended, as no two tattoos are ever the same. We will customize each clients treatment plan for optimal results. How old is the tattoo?

Is the tattoo a cover-up?

Has the tattoo ever been touched-up?

Do you exercise?

Do you smoke cigarettes?

Does the tattoo feel raised at all?

Where is the tattoo located on the body?

Note: We offer discounts when removing large or multiple tattoos at once.

frequently asked questions:

Q: Does tattoo removal hurt?

A: Tattoo removal can be painful. A lot of people ask us if it feels like getting a tattoo, and we believe it feels quite different. Removing a tattoo feels more like bacon grease, as where a tattoo feels more like a pinch with pressure. The good news is tattoo removal is very fast. A tattoo the size of a business card should only take around 60-90 seconds to treat. We also use cold air before, during, and after treatment to help minimize the pain. Our “NB3” is a RX-only numbing cream that is available at the clinic and can make the removal quite comfortable. For clients who have a very low pain tolerance, we do provide a variety of special numbing treatments for an additional cost.

Q: Can I tattoo over the area I get laser tattoo removal on?

A: Yes! Just a few sessions of laser tattoo removal on your old tattoo will help your new cover-up tattoo look much cleaner. Plus, your artist will thank you! We recommend waiting a minimum of eight weeks after your last laser tattoo removal appointment to begin tattooing the area again.

Q: How many treatments will it take to remove my tattoo?

A: How many treatments you will need depends on what kind of ink was used in the tattoo, if the tattoo has any scarring, the location on the body of the tattoo, if the tattoo is professional or amateur, if the tattoo is new work or a cover up, if you smoke cigarettes, and if you exercise. We provide free in-person or text consultations with flexible hours so we can better determine how many treatments will be right for you.

Q: Will the laser tattoo removal treatments leave a scar?

A: With a proper laser treatment and following aftercare, the risk of scarring is extremely low. Wearing SPF daily is one of the most important things you can do to take care of your skin after any laser treatment. Sometimes a tattooer has a heavy hand and causes scarring during the initial tattooing. When this happens, the scarring will remain even after the ink is taken out.

In most cases we can reduce the scarring from a heavy handed tattoo artist with some of our skin resurfacing lasers. At the time of your appointment, we will go over what to expect in your specific situation as well as how to properly care for your skin after a laser tattoo removal treatment.

Q: How long do I have to wait in between laser tattoo removal treatments?

A: We recommend waiting at least 8 weeks in between treatments to allow the body to fully dispel the ink broken up by the last laser treatment. Treatments too close together can also result in hypopigmentation (the skin getting lighter). Brand new tattoos need at least six weeks to heal before the first laser treatment can be done to avoid any scarring.

Q: Will my tattoo completely disappear?

A: Lasers generally eliminate about 95 to 100% of the tattoo.

Q: What type of post-treatment care is necessary after laser tattoo removal?

A: At the time of treatment, we provide a handout with very important aftercare instructions and discuss it together. We highly recommend that our clients follow these instructions to obtain the best outcomes. Most clients have zero downtime and can return to most of their daily activities immediately after treatment.

Q. What type of laser do you use for laser tattoo removal?

A: New Beginnings Tattoo Removal offers laser tattoo removal treatments with the new Astanza Trinity laser. We are the first clinic in Colorado to offer this new laser technology. Our laser utilizes wavelengths 1064, 694, and 532. Having all three wavelengths means that we can safely and effectively remove all ink colors and treat all skin types. We hand selected this specific laser due to it being significantly stronger and safer than any of its competitors. We also have a Candela Alex TriVantage that utilizes the wavelength 755. We are one of the only clinics to still have a q-sqitched 755 wavelength laser. The Candela also fires at 5HZ making it one of the fastest lasers on the market to treat stubborn blues, greens, and purples. No matter what your tattoo looks like, we have the solution! Come and experience why New Beginnings is your luxury laser tattoo removal clinic.
