When it comes to tattoo removal, each person and case is different.
The standard amount of time in between treatments is typically once every eight weeks. In very rare cases, we will allow a client to be treated once every six weeks. For best results and fewer treatments, we recommend treating your tattoo once every ten to twelve weeks.
Treating your tattoo any sooner than this is an absolute waste of your time and money. Not only that, but the outcome has a strong chance of leaving behind hypopigmentation, hyperpigmentation, or even scarring.
Don’t be fooled into thinking more treatments with less time in-between is better. Another important part about laser tattoo removal is being treated on a more mild setting does not cause any less pain than being treated at a therapeutic energy level.
There really is a science when it comes down to tattoo treatment frequency. The longer you wait in between treatments, the better experience and outcome you will have.
